James Verdi

A Life Dedicated to Serving God
Pastor James Verdi, a native of Long Island, New York, is a passionate servant of God dedicated to ministering the Word of God through music, preaching, and evangelism. With a profound anointing upon his life, Pastor James's ministry reflects his deep reverence for Yahweh God, exalting the name of the Lord and giving glory and honor to his Savior, Jesus Christ. Each message is infused with praise, personal experiences, and testimonies, inspiring the body of Christ to worship God in all His splendor and live a holy lifestyle.
Raised in New York, Pastor James received his ministry training at Word of Life church in Freeport, N.Y. It was through music that he first felt the calling to minister the Word of God in a unique way. His worship style has transcended age barriers and cultural differences, touching the hearts of believers across the New York Tri-state area and beyond. He has ministered at numerous functions, including venues in Delaware, New Jersey, Virginia, Tampa, and Fort Myers, Florida.
With a heart for evangelism and a deep desire to reach the lost and heal the sick, Pastor James has been a faithful servant in the body of Christ. He served as a technician in the sound booth at Word of Life Ministries in Freeport, New York, and also took on the roles of an assistant pastor and the leader of the mid-week Bible study group known as Acts 2.
In 2007, Pastor James Verdi founded Laborers 4 Christ ministries, a remarkable endeavor that combines his everyday job with his call and work for the Lord. The ministry was birthed with a vision to break down the walls of division within the body of Christ and to spread the message of God's love through evangelism. In 2018, Laborers 4 Christ planted its first church in West Hempstead, N.Y., under Pastor James's leadership. In 2023, Laborers 4 Christ established a new sanctuary in Valley Stream, NY, where Pastor James Verdi leads the congregation in vibrant worship and powerful teachings.
Alongside his dedicated wife, Samantha, Pastor James continues to respond to God's call by training and equipping the body of Christ, caring for widows and orphans, and remaining spiritually filled with the presence of God. His commitment to ministry led him to become a certified chaplain by the International Federation of Christian Chaplains, Inc., allowing him to offer spiritual support and care to those in need.

Stanley B. Mathurin
Pastor Stanley B. Mathurin is a devoted minister of the Gospel, author, and educator with a passion for empowering individuals to live victorious lives through their faith in Jesus Christ. With over a decade of experience in ministry, Pastor Mathurin has touched the lives of countless individuals through his preaching, teaching, and writing.
Pastor Stanley B. Mathurin holds a Doctor of Theology degree, which he earned from Kairos University's Freeport campus in Long Island, New York, graduating in May 2016. His commitment to expanding his knowledge and understanding of biblical principles has greatly contributed to his ability to effectively communicate and guide others in their spiritual journeys.
Throughout his ministry journey, Pastor Mathurin has been ordained by several esteemed leaders in the Christian community. He was ordained as an Elder on June 17, 2012, at Word of Life Ministries in Freeport, NY, by Pastor Steve Brower. Following this, he received ordination as a Minister of the Gospel on August 17, 2012, at Jesus Way Crusade, led by Bishop Elijah Crawford. Additionally, he was ordained as a Reverend Evangelist on the same date at Discovered Being Ministry Incorporated, under the leadership of Bishop William B. Caractor. Pastor Mathurin's commitment to serving others and spreading the message of God's love and salvation has been recognized and affirmed through these ordinations.
Pastor Stanley B. Mathurin is also an accomplished author, having penned nine books that provide guidance, encouragement, and insights into living a victorious Christian life. His books include titles such as "Who You Are in Christ in Spiritual Warfare," "Enough Is Enough: Fear Has to Go!," "You Are Never Alone!," "Repentance from Dead Works," "The Newness of Life," "Victory Over Fear," "The Path to Overcome Fear," "The Vine, The Vinedresser and The Branches," and "The Ploys of Satan." Through his writings, Pastor Mathurin seeks to equip and inspire individuals to overcome spiritual battles, walk in faith, and experience the abundant life promised by Jesus Christ.
In addition to his pastoral and authorial roles, Pastor Stanley B. Mathurin has also contributed to the field of Christian education. He served as the Dean of Admissions for Kairos University at the Freeport campus in New York for a period of four years. In this capacity, he played a vital role in recruiting and admitting students who were eager to deepen their biblical knowledge and pursue ministry-related careers. His dedication to Christian education reflects his commitment to fostering the growth and development of future leaders within the Church.
